Ayurveda & Menstruality Cyclical Self Care

The wisdom and habits of Ayurveda reconnect us with nature's cycles. Through shifting our daily habits to sync up with the 24 hour day/night rhythm and seasonal rhythms, we discover a powerful healing shift in our physiology.

Menstruality awareness is a doorway to connecting more deeply with our cylical female body rhythm. How do our energies, moods, and needs fluctuate through our cycle?

Both Ayurveda & menstruality lead us to results like deeper rest, improved digestion, and optimized immune function. When these basic needs of our physical health are being met, we set the stage for a ripple effect of healing. Our bodies awaken to more ease and vitality. We find greater steadiness for our mental and emotional wellbeing. And we become more connected to our intuition, heart's desires, and purpose.

Habit Evolution Science

Habit evolution science supports us in taking an approach of curiosity, experimentation, patience, and camaraderie in order to make lasting change. We pace ourselves with small, incremental habit shifts that eventually become our new normal. The course is nine months long because it takes time to learn, to grow, and to integrate new habits. You get to honor your own timing and work within the realistic ebb and flow of your life. Together we are stronger and we receive support and accountability from being in community with others.

 Once you learn and practice these habits, they are forever available to you. They are meant for lifelong wellness based on a foundation of feeling nurtured.

 Course Structure

The Nurturing You Experiment is structured in three appx. 10-week long sessions. You will journey through three sessions, with start dates in January, April, and September. This gives you ample opportunity for learning, integration, and evolution. (Note: There is a summer break for the second half of June, July & August.) Each session will include:

  • Orientation and intention setting

  • A week with each of the 10 habits

  • Communication & relationships work

  • Closing and reflection

Within each 10-week session you will deepen your understanding of the habits, experiment with them, get to know yourself better, and move toward habit automation to create consistently nurturing rhythms for your life.

Along the way, you will receive the steadfast presence of a dynamic community of women who share a common purpose of evolving their wellness for the better. They support you and you support them. We create an encouraging space for you to visit regularly where your wellness desires are uplifted, even if life around you can not always offer this.
Each session, new members will join the community. While all members will be guided by my facilitation, a peer mentor system is established whereby those who have already been through a previous 10-week session can share their experiences and insights with new members.

The culture of this dynamic community is one of positive evolution. You can absolutely expect to evolve your habits and your health for the better … all in time, in a steady and supported unfolding, for lasting change and an empowered, regenerative trajectory for your life moving forward.

The Nurturing You Experiment Sessions

 

Session 1

 
 

Be introduced to the habits and bring a beginner's mind of curiosity and willingness to experiment. Learn the basics of the Ayurvedic perspective on health and how it applies to you and your life. Start to experience being a part of a supportive, dynamic group of women on a growth-oriented path. Build trust in the group. Begin to strengthen the muscles of nurturing you.

Session 2

 

Revisit the habits, this time with more familiarity and personal experience. Deepen your self-awareness as it becomes more clear what nurtures you and what doesn't. Grow your confidence in your intuition and your ability to make conscious, empowered choices for yourself. Feel the habits starting to become woven into the rhythm of your life, softening you into more physical ease and vitality and awakening you to joy and possibility.

Session 3

 

You have an intimate relationship with the habits now and thus, with yourself. You are aware that you are still growing. There is no end game. But you have fallen into a rhythm with nature and there is ease and flow to your life. Nurturing you is now non-negotiable because you know it is the foundation for you to thrive. You are trusting your intuition more than ever and trusting the unfolding of your life. You have a beautiful toolkit of habits to support your lifelong wellness.

“In this first 3 month round of the course I focused on my eating and weight loss to help with chronic pain. I am 26 pounds lighter this round. I feel really great on the earlier lighter meal plan, and nourishing my body with natural greens. While I'm still experiencing pain, it's definitely not as immense as when we started this round. My biggest win was joining my family at an adventure park and walking over 13 thousand steps with minimal pain.
